A very large and strong old wood ice axe. I wonder the stories it could tell…what peaks has it seen? It features a wooden shaft, hand forged one piece ferrule/spike and a beautifully patinaed pick and adze. It is in excellent condition and has been preserved with our natural oil and beeswax finish.
