Stegosaurus aegyptiacus is its full Name. The Stegosaurus or “spiny lizard” Is one of the longest known dinosaurs, measuring up to 60 ft Long, 20 ft High and up to 10 tons. Easily recognizable by its very large dorsal spines, it is supposed that he possessed a veil fulfilling the function of thermal regulator. The Stegosaurus, which lived in the Cretaceous, was both carnivorous and piscivorous. Long, narrow and with many straight teeth, the skull of Stegosaurus is shaped like crocodiles.
