Description
PSR’s Toyota Landcruiser 70 Series Leaf Spring Glide Plate is a super tough product designed to remove the catch point at the rear lower shock mount and protect the shock absorber lower eye from impact damage. The PSR Glide plate is a great alternative to other items on the market that raise the shock mount requiring the need to use a shorter shock absorber, reducing suspension travel or if using your existing shock absorber you gain too much down travel which could invert shackles, damage brake lines or bottom the shock absorber out due to the raised mounting position. Manufactured from 6mm plate and re-enforced with welded gussets on each flange this item will take the punishment to protect your shock absorber and remove the associated catch point from under the vehicle. Another unique product that can be purchased separately to this item and has been designed in conjunction with the glide plate is the bolt on shock guard. Manufactured from 3mm stainless and Tig welded this item will protect your shock absorbers from the impact from most rock and other underbody damaging items, see part number PSRLAN-113. The Glide plate system will work with any variation of shock and leaf spring, the shock guard will not work with sway bars.
