Beautiful feline, both elegant and powerful, the lioness is one of the largest carnivores in Africa! The Lioness has a long body with impressive musculature, as well as powerful legs with claws. This predator of more than 300 pounds, is a formidable hunter. Lighter and faster than the lion, she can reach nearly 37 m/h. Lionesses hunt in groups and feed on cattle or other animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras or warthogs.
