Bastien Brothers brand snowshoes. Handmade in Canada. This set of snowshoes is in really good condition – notice the tightly woven rawhide. Original leather bindings are still supple enough to be used. Leather bindings were a major upgrade from a simple cloth rope tie, which constituted the foot attachments on the earliest snowshoes.
