Typical of well loved (and used) vintage skis of this era – the original stain and finish has peeled. We love this look. We’ve cleaned them and coated the skis with a thin application of clear natural shellac which will keep any further deterioration from happening (and won’t flake or leave debris on your floor or wall). The remnants of a logo are on one of the skis – but they are a classic pair of pointed tip (indicating 1920s – 1930s). They do NOT have metal edges. The 3 grooves around the edges of these skis are unique (most of the premium skis of the day had just 2 aka “twin grooves”).
