A gorgeous display of a resort first envisioned by Earl Eaton in the 1950’s.  Vail Ski Resort founder, Pete Seibert continued Mr. Eatons dream by trying to persuade the Denver Olympic Committee in the mid 1970’s to host the games here.  His failure eventually lead to the success when oil Barron, Mr. Harry W. Bass developed the mountain, with chairs swinging by the 1980/81 ski season.
