Antique hand carved Ridgetop skis

These handsome 7 foot tall skis are hardwood – likely Maple or Hickory with pointed tips. Complete beartrap cable bindings. Notice the tapered wood “ridgetop” above and below the binding plate. These skis have an unique H logo near the tips. I have kept these in my personal collection for over 15 years, but it is time to let them find a new owner to cherish them.
One point about the “Ridgetop” that is interesting. This was an upgrade from the previous versions of a flat ski – to help with the chatter or vibration from skiing at high speeds. Vintage vibration dampening technology.
